Op je plaats, klaar, snuffelen maar!
Dingen die je zelf vindt, smaken dubbel zo goed en zorgen ook voor meer plezier! Snuffelen en zoeken naar voedsel is natuurlijk gedrag waarbij de neuzen van kleine zoogdieren overuren draaien. Maar het vergt ook concentratie! 
Met deze Snufflemat is de zoektocht echt spannend en houden de konijnen en knaagdieren zich zinvol bezig. Verveling wordt een begrip uit het verleden en het allerbeste is dat je intensief tijd doorbrengt met jouw huisdier waardoor de band sterker wordt en het wederzijds vertrouwen verbetert! De dieren zijn ontspannen, gelukkig en rustig.

Om de eerste zoektocht naar de koekjes voor het dier gemakkelijker te maken, kun je ze los op de mat strooien. Om het moeilijker te maken, kun je de koekjes gewoon dieper in de mat verstoppen. Als alle koekjes gevonden zijn,zijn er twee opties:

  • de mat opnieuw vullen met koekjes en zo gaat de opwindende zoektocht verder
  • het spel wordt op een positieve manier beëindigd, bijvoorbeeld met een aai. De mat kan dan het beste opzij gelegd worden, want anders kan het dier zijn interesse verliezen als hij ondanks zijn grote moeite geen beloning meer vindt.                           

Laat de dieren alleen onder toezicht de snufflemat gebruiken.
